I really loved the last few eps of “Arrow”, although the Olicity tease in the finale was a bit cruel. I saw news that John Barrowman has been upped to a series regular next season, and I can’t wait to see what Malcolm and Thea will do next year. One thing: If they’re going to make Laurel Black Canary, can they recast please? Katie Cassidy just does absolutely nothing for me.
As part of the marketing campaign for season 2 of “Arrow” premiering October 9th on the CW, they are showing off all of the gorgeous male actors with the tag line “Coming Back Strong”. I love the series even without the man candy, but I do appreciate the shirtlessness nevertheless.
The second season finale of “Teen Wolf” was kind of a let down, mainly due to it being advertised as having a “big death” and there was absolutely none. But since the big death was probably going to be Colton, I’m glad he’s sticking around, since he’s the one who kept up the male nudity quotient this season. I really did like the “naked” shots at the end with the lights and the smoke; they were really beautifully shot. I do hope next season that they spread the gratuitous shirtless scenes around to the rest of the male cast, especially Dylan O’Brien and my new favorite Daniel Sharman.
Here’s a bonus “Sterek” video that I definitely enjoyed of the Tyler Hoechlin & Dylan O’Brien trying to get some votes for the Teen Choice Awards. Gotta love a show that uses its slash pairing to promote things:
Colton Haynes’ character is such a douchebag this season, but at least, he’s the most scantily clad character so far to make up for it. In the second part of the season premiere, he sets a video cam to watch himself transform… and if you had it on mute, you’d totally would think it was the start of a solo porn. Ah, “Teen Wolf”… bless.
