I don’t know if this is a “confession” perse, but I was a huge, huge, HUGE “Xena” freak back in the day (and I’m not even a lesbian). Well, since she’s hung up her chakram, I’ve been missing my fantasy sword epic on the TV screen these past few years, so I was stoked to hear that the “Xena” and “Hercules” producers are back with a new series “Legend of the Seeker”. Based on Terry Goodkind’s “Sword of Truth” series, it’s hitting the syndication schedule this weekend. I just caught it, and I really dug it, with all the sword fighting and wizardy and effects (some of which even looked movie quality).

Plus, y’know, the totally ripped, smoking hot shirtless guy wielding a big sword. Thanks for the gratuitous, shirtless woodsman scene in the very first ep; it makes me feel a part of the target audience. LOL. See the caps from the series premiere behind the cut.
